Celebrate New Year's Eve at six locations in DownTown Reading

Sovereign Center, 7th & Penn Sts. -music by "THE LEFT EDGE" performing all your favorite Classic Rock top tunes the way you remember them, huge inflatable, rock climbing walls ALL presented by Ozzy's Sports Fun Center on Route 61, games, Teen Lounge with DJ , Reading Royals, Reading Phillies, Reading Express, Reading Railers, Reading DID with magic shows including "Close-Up Magic of Randy and also Magic & Illusions by George Reager and much more. Food is available for purchase.

GoggleWorks, 2nd & Washington Sts. - live music with great sounds by musicians of "The Acoustic Road Show" , hands on project with some of the GoggleWorks artists. Glass Making demonstrations in the Hot Shop. Galleries will be open for viewing the current exhibitions. Special showing of cartoons in the Theatre from 9:30 - 11:15. Refreshments available for purchase at the Bravo Cafe.

The Abraham Lincoln, 5th & Washington St. - "Dancing in the Swing Era". Dance to the music of SWING FEVER, a 21 piece dance band and vocalist, from the days of Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey. Louise Lamar Dance Studio will be there to demonstrate the "proper styles of ballroom dancing. Chef Magagna's Italian Pastries, coffees and cappuccinos will be offered for sale in the ballroom as well.

Miller Theatre, RACC, 2nd & Penn St. - Enjoy the many multi-cultural presentations by the various groups with the student body of Reading Area Community College. In the theatre proper, be entertained by Hesses' Nasty9, direct from Berks JazzFest

Zion Baptist Church - 10:30p.m. Church Service

Christ Episcopal Church, 5th & Court Sts., will be open for you and your family to experience "The Labyrinth" and meditate on the old year past and on the new year coming.


NEW YEAR'S EVE COUNTDOWN PARTY - Bring in the New Year "Time Square-Style", direrctly outside the Sovereign Center entrance on Penn Street. Be part of the "BIG COUNTDOWN PARTY" with 107.5 FRANK FM and usher in the New Year "New York Style" with our own Time Square on Penn Square. WE HAVE FIREWORKS AT MIDNIGHT, New York City doesn't.
