Artist Profile: New exhibition on display in L'Arte della Vita

Chris Kovensky

A senior at Albright College majoring in Art & Business Administration with a concentration in Management. He is also a member of the Albright football team.

Chris’ interests and topics for his works are varied, but he really enjoys painting portraits. He paints in acrylic as well as oil, but also does work in pen and ink.

Kaila Hawriluk

Currently a full-time senior at Albright College majoring in Fine Arts with a concentration in Painting, and minoring in Photography, Kaila also works two part time jobs, and is the president of AVAO (Albright Visual Arts Organization)

You’ll notice the difference in style between her paintings and photography…The paintings are more “content and concept” oriented, while her photographs are very nature oriented. Kaila feels that her photography captures the true beauty of more barren nature settings, and that she has found a way to make modern scenes seem more timeless.
