Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions Presents Friday Night Fights.

The ten round main event will feature undefeated Philadelphia welterweight Mike Jones (15-0, 13 KO’s) against tough Mexican Luciano Perez (16-8-1, 14 KO’s). Jones recently won the vacant NABF welterweight belt with a sixth round knockout over Juliano Ramos on August 29 at the New Alhambra in Philadelphia. He is currently ranked 12th by the World Boxing Association. His opponent Luciano Perez has faced the likes of Carlos Baldomir, Richard Gutierrez, Jesus Soto Karass and Alfonso Gomez.The night’s co-feature will include undefeated welterweight prospect Rock Allen (13-0, 7 KO’s) against an opponent to be determined. Allen recently scored a unanimous decision over Gilbert Vera on September 12th in Texas. Allen was a member of the United States Boxing Team at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. He was also the 2002 United States Amateur Light Welterweight Champion and National Golden Gloves Light Welterweight Champion.Also featured will be undefeated junior welterweight Jason Cintron (9-0, 2 KO’s) of Reading, who is coming off a shocking upset over Philadelphia’s Tyric Robinson at the Blue Horizon on October 17th. Jason is the brother of former IBF Welterweight Champ Kermit Cintron. Two other exciting fighters from the Reading area are also scheduled in six round bouts. Featherweight Lucian Gonzalez (8-4-1, 1 KO) and cruiserweight Julio Cesar Matthews (5-0, 4 KO’s) are both coming off action packed, crowd pleasing victories. In addition, Philadelphia junior middleweight Latif Mundy will face an opponent yet to be determined, and Paul Fernandez of Philadelphia will face Puerto Rican native Esteban Rodriguez of Lebanon, PA in four rounds of featherweight action.Tickets: $65, $50, $30 and $25 Doors open at 6:30 p.m
